Ingredients
- 1 cup almond butter (creamy)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2/3 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 flax egg (or normal egg)
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a large bowl or using a stand mixer, beat together the almond butter, coconut sugar & vanilla
- In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, salt & baking soda
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet, slowly & steadily and mix until just combined
- Add flax egg and beat until just combined
- Fold in dark chocolate chips
- Using a cookie scooper (or spoon) measure about 1 tbsp of dough, roll in hands to form a ball
- Place on pan & gently flatten with hands
- Bake for about 7 minutes (they burn easily)
- Cool for about 10 min
