{"id":13445,"date":"2026-01-06T16:50:16","date_gmt":"2026-01-06T16:50:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/360fit.biz\/?p=13445"},"modified":"2026-01-06T16:50:17","modified_gmt":"2026-01-06T16:50:17","slug":"pulled-pork-with-caramelized-onions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/360fit.biz\/?p=13445","title":{"rendered":"Pulled Pork with Caramelized Onions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 large onions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/3 cup raw cane sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp dried oregano<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp freshly ground pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 tsp salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/3 cup cider vinegar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup chili sauce (Heinz)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 1\/2 tsp minced chipolte Chile in adobo sauce (smoked jalapenos packed in a flavorful sauce)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 pounds bonelesd pork shoulder or butt roast, trimmed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften (3-6 minutes). Add sugar and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden brown (6-8 minutes). Add garlic, oregano, pepper and salt; cook, stirring for 1 minute. Add vinegar and bring to boil. Cook until mostly evaporated (30 seconds to 1 minute). Remove from heat and stir in chili sauce and chipolte to taste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place pork in 4 quart (or larger) slow cooker and cover with sauce.
